My name is Rikke, and me, my husband and our two girls live in Esbjerg with our dog. We bought our lovely holiday home at Blåvand in 2018. It is originally a year-round house from 1883, which was first renovated in the 1980s. On the outside, the beautiful historical appearance has been preserved, and we had a new thatched roof installed when we took over the house in 2018. Inside, we have renovated the house ourselves and added a lovely secluded terrace in the garden.
Good excursion destinations on foot are Blåvand town, which is only 3 km away. Through a beautiful protected dune area, you can walk to the Tirpitz museum, where you can learn a lot about the history of the west coast. The child-friendly beach, Hvidbjerg Strand, is relatively calm and child-friendly for the North Sea, so we are happy to swim here in the summer.
