This lovingly restored thatched cottage from 1860 is located amid the gently rolling hills of Holstein Switzerland – a place where history comes alive and everyday life fades into the distance.

As soon as you enter, you are greeted by the spacious hallway with its 3-meter-high ceiling. Original iron fittings, old half-timbered beams, and warm wooden floorboards tell of times gone by, while the kitchen, modernized in 2021, and the cozy living room with its wood-burning stove offer modern comforts. Three comfortable bedrooms can accommodate up to seven adults – ideal for families or small groups.

From the kitchen, you have direct access to the sunny terrace, where historic granite stones crunch underfoot and the view extends over the extensive hillside property to the babbling brook. Here, you are accompanied by birdsong and the rustling of leaves – television becomes superfluous.

The natural garden borders a pasture where horses from a neighboring Demeter farm graze peacefully. Directly behind the house is an extensive mixed beech forest – perfect for long walks, quiet moments, and deep breaths.
