Chalet with hot tub above the Champagne vineyards

This chalet in the hills above Cormoyeux combines the atmosphere of a mountain chalet with the heart of the Champagne vineyards. It overlooks the Brunet Valley and the Marne Valley, with natural materials used throughout the interior and on the terrace.

In the summer, the large floor-to-ceiling windows open onto the terrace, blurring the line between indoors and outdoors as you gaze out at the vineyards. The kitchen features a wine cellar, induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, and a Smeg coffee grinder. A wood-burning stove warms the living room, which opens onto the dining room.

The ground-floor suite features a forest-themed design with a queen-size bed and an en suite bathroom. Upstairs, there are two single beds, a bathroom, and a hammock suspended above the living room for enjoying the view. On the terrace, the quiet hot tub invites you to toast with Champagne.

Hautvillers, the village of Dom Pérignon; Épernay and its Avenue de Champagne; and Reims, with its cathedral and cellars such as Taittinger and Ruinart, offer wonderful places to visit. In Cormoyeux, the lookout point overlooks the UNESCO-listed hillsides.
