When you want to take a bath, you can do so in the garden in the outdoor wooden-clad outdoor bath with hot water. Light the fire in the evening, enjoy the peace and quiet and the birds singing in the background, and tell tall tales long into the night.
Just a two-minute walk from the cottage is the lovely sandy beach, Østerstrand. Our names are Heidi and Jesper, and we live in Viborg with our two wonderful boys and our dog. We have dreamed of owning a summer house for many years, and last year we decided that now was the time. So now we have been summer house owners for a year, and we love it.
For us, summer house life means lots of quality time together as a family. We slow down, enjoy nature, and, not least, everything the local area has to offer.
We spend a lot of time at Østerstrand, where we swim, catch crabs, and just enjoy the peace and quiet. We also often visit Nykøbing By, which has everything we need in terms of shops, restaurants, and a cozy town life.
A few kilometers from the cottage is Jesperhus, which we visit many times a year.
Children and dogs are welcome at our place, and we have a fenced garden, toys, games, a crib, and a high chair.
In the fall season, the cottage is best suited for 4 people due to the indoor dining area.

A lovely little cottage perfectly located close to both town and beach. We enjoyed swimming in the sea, watching the sunrise, and reading. It was a fun touch that the shower was located in the garden. The sign on the door saying "no wifi - talk to each other" allowed for peace and quiet. We left with our batteries recharged.
