In Himmerland, close to the village of Skørbæk, Vadskærgård is located on 110,000 square meters of scenic land with forest, bog and lake.

The cozy, newly renovated apartment is a direct extension of the farm, and here there is room for the family to feel at home in the light interior design and enjoy beautiful nature experiences in Ådalslandet close to the Limfjord.

The guesthouse you'll be staying in was originally part of the old cowshed. In 2022, the guesthouse was renovated with a focus on minimalist interior design and recycling. The decor is completed with clean lines, muted colors and a harmonious simplicity, while the many rustic wooden furniture creates a common thread throughout the apartment and brings nature inside.

We've tried to bring nature inside, but it's best experienced right outside the door. Outside, you'll find a lovely terrace and a peaceful fire pit that invites you to spend slow days overlooking the calm waters of the lake and the beautiful valley below. The grassy backyard provides space for family activities, while the neighborhood offers plenty of opportunities to feel at one with nature. Take a walk in the shady forest on the hottest summer days or go fishing on the lake.

Spread out in the rooms, each with its own personal touch, or gather in the living room's soft sofa corner for a board game. One of the living rooms has direct access to a private terrace. You can also move to the other side of the building, where you can grill and build a fire, inviting you to spend cozy evenings overlooking the calm waters of the lake and the beautiful valley.
