In this charming apartment next to the old barn, which has now been converted into a creative workshop, you will find the perfect place for your artistic activities or a relaxing vacation in beautiful surroundings.
The apartment offers a well-thought-out interior with personal artwork and original details such as exposed wooden beams and the original stable floor. From the kitchen with dining area, you can access the cozy living room with large patio doors, the bathroom, and the bright bedroom.
Two terraces offer you the opportunity to enjoy both the communal garden and a private garden with a view of the paddock. The large south-facing windows fill the room with natural light and create a pleasant atmosphere all year round. If you feel like some wellness, you can relax in the communal sauna on the neighboring main farm – use is available for a small extra charge.
The Aukrug Nature Park begins right outside the front door, offering a variety of hiking and biking trails. Take a break at the Café am Boxberg and enjoy the magnificent view. The North Sea and Baltic Sea, as well as the cities of Hamburg, Lübeck, and Kiel, are perfect for day trips.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.

- Enjoy your breakfast on the terrace overlooking the paddock
- Discover the beautiful hiking trails of the Aukrug Nature Park
As a designer of tableware, I created this special place. In 2000, I purchased the old pony farm in Meezen and converted it into the Werkgut art and culture farm in 2020. In 2025, I furnished the artist's apartment next to the old barn, where I strive to create an enchanting atmosphere for our guests.
