Architect-designed cottage among tall pine trees

The original owner designed and built this holiday home using high-quality materials, and it's surrounded by tall, old pine trees. During the day, the large terrace basks in sunlight, and the garden offers hiding spots, a guesthouse, and visits from woodpeckers, blackbirds, and blue tits—and sometimes a deer wanders by.

Inside, the space is bright and inviting, with large windows overlooking the green garden. In the living room, you’ll find a wood-burning stove with a crackling fire; there’s plenty of firewood for your use, as well as a Quooker for a hot cup of coffee. The house is built to last: solid materials, plenty of space, and everything you need to completely unwind.

The large terrace's a natural gathering spot when the sun's out. Here, you can sit in the shade of the tall pine trees with the garden all around you—the birds are singing, the owl box in the big tree has its regular visitors, and the kids have plenty of space to explore hiding spots and the annex. In addition, you've got a gas barbecue available with free gas for your use throughout your stay.

Liseleje Strand's known for its long, white, swimmer-friendly beach, and the town has cafés, restaurants, and ice cream shops. If you’d also like to experience a harbour atmosphere, Hundested and Lynæs Harbour are nearby, offering dining options, surfing and art exhibitions—and from there, you can take the small ferry over to Rørvig. Asserbo Plantage offers forests and hiking trails of varying lengths.
