My name is Ulla, and both my family and I live in the city on a daily basis and therefore appreciate our beautiful holiday home. Here we are greeted by the sounds of nature and the fresh air in the lovely garden as soon as we step out of the car. Our shoulders slump, we breathe a little deeper and are completely present in the moment. We love the fact that we can step directly from the living room into nature. It feels nice and right.
When we're here, we like to go for a walk by the water, which draws us in all weathers. Here we enjoy the calm beach with its clean, clear water. We also like to cycle to Gilleleje or Tisvilde, which are eight and nine kilometers from the house, respectively. A little closer is one of Denmark's largest collection of Bronze Age burial mounds, which is also always worth a visit with its beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
