The vacation home was old and a bit worn—not in great shape, but charming and cozy.
The surroundings were very quiet and peaceful, with cuckoos and pheasants nearby. There was almost no traffic on the road—we saw maybe one car three times in total and a few cyclists. There are fields around the house, and the ocean is just a short walk away.
The garden is lovely, with a conservatory where you can sit when it’s windy, as well as an annex, lounge chairs, and patio furniture.
