Experience history and tradition in this cozy cabin

On the shores of Skagerak, among beautiful rocky mountains, you will find this cozy cottage. The cabin is located just four meters from the sea, on a five kilometer long car-free island, so here you can really find peace and quiet. If you want to experience a traditional Norwegian cabin in the south of Norway, this is the place to be.

When you enter the cabin, you immediately get the feeling of being at least 100 years back in time. All of the design choices here are traditional without compromising on functionality, as the kitchen has everything you need to cook delicious meals throughout your stay. Note in particular the log walls in the living room, which have been painted pink, and the distinctive wall decorations.

In summer, you can swim in the sea by the rocky cliffs. The island also has beautiful forest areas that offer a great setting for both hiking and jogging. You can head to Sandvika where there is a beautiful lawn, jetty and places to fish for crabs. Have a delicious meal at Brød og Vind, or head to Lyngør if you want to explore the nearby islands. You can also take a short drive to the charming southern towns of Risør and Tvedestrand.
