This time-honored forester’s lodge offers you a spacious vacation apartment spread over two floors, combining historic charm with modern comforts. The house, which was completely renovated in 2022, is located along the Harz Hexenstieg trail and is surrounded by a fully fenced property. Horses graze year-round in the neighboring pasture and enjoy peeking over the fence.
The bright and cheerfully furnished apartment spans two floors and features two bathrooms with showers and three toilets. The high-quality kitchen is equipped with a 90-series Smeg freestanding stove, a dishwasher, and a Moccamaster coffee maker. In the basement, you’ll find a spacious sauna area with a shower and lounge chairs, as well as a washer and dryer.
The large garden wraps around the entire house and offers several areas to sit and relax. The paved courtyard has space for 3–4 cars. Across the way stands a large historic barn with workshops and seminar rooms. Next to it, an open pavilion invites you to barbecue and enjoy covered dining.
Directly above the house lies the Jordanshöhe, with expansive mountain meadows perfect for walking and hiking. The Harz Hexenstieg and DSV Nordic Walking Trails pass right by the house. In winter, you can head straight from here to the cross-country ski trails above and around Andreasberg. The Upper Harz National Park is right next door.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.
