Pia’s house is wonderful, especially the large living/dining/kitchen area (including a fireplace). This room has floor-to-ceiling windows running the entire length of the front (about 10 meters!): when you’re sitting comfortably inside, you feel as if you’re outside—with an unobstructed view of the green garden and the sea. Since it was the off-season, the entire vacation home community was very quiet.
Pia gave us excellent tips on how to find our way around the house. Her suggestions for excursions in the immediate vicinity of the house were just as helpful. Take Pia’s advice—it’s worth it!!
Faaborg (8 km away) is a lovely little town where you can find everything you need. The ferry rides to one of the islands off the coast of Faaborg are well worth it. It’s best to bring a bike or rent one.
We had excellent communication with Pia via email. She answered our questions right away—often with a great sense of humor. Maybe we’ll get to meet her next time—farewell (Tschüss)
