We are Carsten and Christina, and Fyrhøj is our sanctuary. We love spending time here, and as soon as we arrive, we feel the fresh sea air and look forward to enjoying the silence, the view and Gilleleje town with its old thatched houses and cozy atmosphere. We especially love the buzzing life at the harbor, where we buy fresh fish and enjoy the many great places to eat.

We (3 people + Labrador) enjoyed our stay very much. The house offers peace and quiet, plenty of space and is tastefully furnished. The terrace and the garden are very nice.
We didn't miss anything and felt very welcome.
You can walk to the cliffs in 5 minutes. The center of Gilleleje can also be reached on foot (a good 2 km beautiful walk along the coast).
We liked the area very much and it offers something for everyone, great nature, beautiful beaches (e.g. in Hornbaek), culture (e.g. Louisiana Museum of Modern Art). Copenhagen can also be reached quickly by train or car.
