Hi, We bought the property in 2017, the same week we had our first child - Tage. We decided to exchange the sailboat for a house on a lake plot near Stockholm. After an extensive renovation, where we have designed and built most of it ourselves, we have raised the house to a high standard with charming and cozy details. The house has kept its shape and nice location, but we have added heating, cooling, stove, own well, a well-equipped kitchen, sauna, dock and several terraces. We spend the whole year's weekends and holidays here and love to discover the area's charming restaurants, swimming spots and flea markets. We also enjoy fishing, water sports and the like and on the island next door there is a shop, good running tracks, swimming lake and tennis and paddle court. We enjoy spending time with family and friends when the sun sets over the bay at the pier terrace.
