Hello, We bought the property in 2017, the same week we had our first child - Tage. We decided to replace the sailboat with a house on a lakefront plot near Stockholm. After an extensive renovation, where we have designed and built most things ourselves, we have raised the house to a high standard with charming and cozy details. The house has kept its shape and nice location, but we have added heating, cooling, stove, own well, a well-equipped kitchen, sauna, jetty and several terraces. We spend weekends and holidays here all year round and love discovering the area's charming restaurants, beaches and flea markets. We also enjoy fishing, water sports and the like and on the island next door there is a shop, good running trails, swimming lake and tennis and padel court. We enjoy spending time with family and friends when the sun sets over the bay at the dock terrace.
