Light and airy house on the island

Welcome to a bright and spacious house located high up on the island, with sea views in both directions. Here you can watch the cruise ships glide by and enjoy the sunset from the terrace. The house is perfectly positioned to catch the afternoon sun and you even have sea glimpses from the other side of the island.

The house has an open plan layout with the kitchen, dining area and living room on the lower level, as well as a bedroom with great views that is perfect as a children's room. The dining area is generously high to create extra space and air. Here you will also find a fireplace and a bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine. Upstairs there are three unique bedrooms and a cozy reading corner with the best view of the water.

In addition to the inviting interior, the house offers several terraces for both sun and shade. Your favorite spot is likely to be the waterfront terrace/sauna, especially during the evening sunset. The dock is deep enough for large boats, but you can also swim in the shallower water closest to the rock/beach edge.

The area around the house is also fantastic with several restaurants such as Getfoten, Systrarnas and Bryggan på Tenö within easy reach. Stroll around cozy Vaxholm, run a lap on the running track on Tynningö or visit the animals on Velamsund. Whatever you choose to do, you will love coming back to this house after a day out.

Please note: The house is located on a car-free island that is only accessible by boat. You can get here by private boat, taxi boat or Waxholm boat (passenger ferry). The easiest way to get to the island is by Waxholm boat from Vaxholm. Alternatively, you can take the ferry from Stockholm Strömkajen or from Gåshaga on Lidingö. On Lidingö (Gåshaga), there is a large parking lot at the ferry terminal where you can leave your car if you come by car.
