The 130 year old and charming family place, Havlykkegård, is located with the most beautiful view over the water and only a few hundred meters from one of Denmark's best beaches. Here you can find complete peace and quiet.
Havlykkegaard is a home with wings and space for the large family to be both together and separately. There is room for the big arm movements, game nights and cosy moments in front of the wood stove. Connected to the living rooms is the large kitchen, where meals can be prepared for many people to gather around. The old farmhouse has charming old windows, exposed pipework and a lovely atmosphere. Both the cooking and the subsequent dinner in the bright dining room invite you to socialise and work together. The living rooms have lovely, soft furnishings that allow you to stretch your legs and relax.
The cottage has 5 double bedrooms, a single room and a living room, with two bunk beds, the lower bunk being a single. A good night's sleep is guaranteed, as all bedrooms are equipped with good beds and the area is quiet.
There's also an interim gym with machines and foosball, a two-person hot tub and a utility room with laundry facilities. Havlykkegård has its own paddock, so if you want to bring your horse, you can.
If you have an angler in the family, you'll be staying close to great fishing spots. The beach is only 200 metres away and you can swim, relax or launch a small trailer boat if you want to view the land from the water.
On the old, enclosed natural grounds you will find two large terraces and a lot of little nooks where you can play ball, make a fire, pick ramsons, strawberries or apples - depending on the season. Children can go for a ride on the trampoline. In the garden you will meet the incredible starry sky, the owl and Henning the pheasant. If you're lucky, you might also meet some of the deer.

We are a close-knit family of 11 people and a dog. We've had the cottage for six months, and bought it because we wanted the cottage life - a bit like the rest of Denmark. For us, Havlykkegaard is a spacious sanctuary where we can all be together and still have space for our various pursuits. We play games in one room, watch TV in another, chat in a third and at the same time there is room to set a good dinner table that accommodates us all.
One of Denmark's best beaches is only 2-300 metres from the farm, so we like to go there on excursions. The area on Falster is absolutely fantastic to go on excursions in. We value biodiversity and the garden is not an ambitious project, but it is refreshing to spend a few hours removing nettles or picking raspberries.
A few kilometres to the south you meet Marielyst with all its possibilities - but if you go a little north, there are beaches with steep slopes and trees almost to the water's edge.

We can highly recommend the holiday home from Steen & Renata. We stayed there with a large group for work and felt very comfortable. The house is just as beautiful as it looks in the pictures, with plenty of space for shared meals at the table and cozy seating by the fireplace. You’re truly surrounded by beautiful nature, and the sea is within walking distance.
For us, working here even felt a bit like a vacation.
