We are a family of five, with roots in the Netherlands, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Denmark. In our home we speak three languages daily and often travel between these countries. We call our house 'the golden apple' because of the apple trees in the garden and the Bosnian apple schnapps 'zlatna jabuka' in our freezer. We are all active in the arts - Joost as a theater performer and musician, and Iva as a dancer, choreographer and physiotherapist. Our children, who spent their early years in Denmark, are also very creative and musical.
