Cabin at Bjelland Gard near the mountain peaks

The cabin is a dream for nature lovers and those who appreciate interior design. With its location on Bjelland Gard, it offers stunning views of the valley and a peaceful atmosphere without through traffic. The cabin was designed by my uncle, an architect, in collaboration with my mother in 1987, and has become a perfect retreat ever since.

The interior is made of wood, with wood paneling on the walls and solid wood floors that provide a relaxed atmosphere. The living room has verandas on both sides, one facing east for morning coffee and the other west for the evening sun. Large floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of light and provide a fantastic view.

Outside the cabin is a large garden and several hiking trails. One trail leads to nearby mountain peaks, while the gravel roads are ideal for easier walks in the fields. The garden is perfect for lazy days with a good book or a picnic in the sunshine.

The area around Bjelland Gard offers many exciting activities. You can order unique dining experiences out in nature, and there are several good cafés and restaurants just half an hour away by car. There are also great hiking opportunities for all skill levels, whether you want to climb peaks or take a leisurely stroll.
