Historic charm meets sustainable living: Our lovingly renovated accommodation in Laer combines the soul of a traditional building with modern comforts. Clay plaster, wood wool insulation, and genuine oak flooring ensure a pleasant indoor climate year-round, while underfloor heating provides cozy warmth throughout.
The house consists of three individual apartments, each fully equipped. They offer private retreats while also allowing for a pleasant sense of community under one roof. The open living areas with kitchen and dining room create a convivial atmosphere. Those seeking tranquility will find space in the cozy rooms for relaxing reading sessions or a cozy movie night. We crafted many of the furnishings ourselves from wood sourced from our own forests—from the solid-wood tables to the handcrafted details.
Directly across the way, a forest path begins, inviting you to take walks, hikes, or bike rides toward Hennesee. A little insider tip from us: After just five minutes through the forest, you’ll reach an enchanted spot with a bench—perfect for unforgettable sunrises and sunsets.
The region offers a wealth of activities around Lake Hennesee: from boat tours and swimming at the beach to idyllic trails with stunning views. The Lörmecke Tower and the Willingen Skywalk, with their impressive panoramic views, are also wonderful destinations for day trips in the surrounding area.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.
