Andalusian farmhouse among pines in the Serranía

A farmhouse built in the traditional Andalusian architectural style, situated on a small hill surrounded by pine trees, wild olive trees, gall oaks, and centuries-old holm oaks. The house faces southeast and overlooks the Genal Valley. Here you can unwind from your daily routine in the heart of nature.

The décor blends Andalusian style with Moroccan influences. An artisan in Morocco custom-made the floors, room by room. The doors are antique, and a craftsman hand-forged the railings. The lighting combines handcrafted lamps with crystal chandeliers from antique dealers in Provence.

The garden's planted with native species, and we've whitewashed the façade with natural pigments. Whenever you want to get some fresh air, the 150-hectare estate of pine trees and scrubland surrounds you, with the nearest neighbour a kilometre away.

Gaucín's a white village in the Serranía de Ronda, at an elevation of about 600 metres. You can visit the Castillo del Águila, a castle of Arab origin, the Church of San Sebastián, and the local art galleries. Nearby, the Genal and Guadiaro rivers offer swimming areas in the summer. The coast's about 30 minutes away, and Ronda's less than an hour away.
