The family has given the house a loving touch over the years, creating an atmospheric house with high panels, hand-picked furniture and cozy details, with the intention of making you feel at home. The large windows in the heart of the house merge indoor and outdoor life and invite the light and green colors of nature inside. The living room, kitchen and all the bedrooms have direct access to the terrace. Brew a cup of morning coffee in the small kitchen, open the door to the terrace and enjoy the morning sunshine to the sound of birdsong. Our names are Sanne and Leif, and we have owned our lovely holiday home since 1996. The house is originally from 1972, so when we took over the house it was a real 70's house for better or worse. We have therefore renovated it a bit to create a cozy and peaceful atmosphere that can accommodate the family and cottage life. We love the private beach and the water, which is no less than 200 meters from the cottage. The beach is great for both children and adults, and you can swim and fish with either a rod or a harpoon. We also often go to Tisvildeleje where there are good restaurants, cozy cafés and a market on Saturdays. Just a ten-minute bike ride away is the cozy Rabarbergården, which serves brunch, lunch and dinner in beautiful surroundings. There are the usual grocery stores in Vejby and Helsinge as well as several lovely farm shops close by. 2 min. walk from the cottage is a delicious and very popular fish and chip shop, which is open all year round.
