Imagine a place where you can completely relax and recharge in the silence of nature. This traditional cabin is just such a sanctuary, set in scenic surroundings and close to the adventurous Trysilfjellet mountain.
Here you'll find modern conveniences combined with rustic charm. The kitchen is fully equipped to conjure up delicious meals, and the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room and kitchen ensure that you never lose touch with nature. The alcove is a cozy retreat for reading or relaxing.
Outside, you can relax on the covered terrace and enjoy the sounds of nature or a cozy evening by the fire pit. The terrace is the perfect place to enjoy the changing seasons to the fullest.
The area around the cabin offers a wealth of excursion opportunities. Take a trip to Store Svuku or Femundsmarka National Park, where you can go canoeing. In winter, the landscape transforms into a snow paradise, perfect for snowmobiling and evenings by the fireplace.
In winter, you can go cross-country skiing. There are no cross-country tracks, but the trails are something you shape yourself. So the route and the trip are entirely up to you.

Highlights from Tore
Host since January 2024
- Experience the tranquillity of a traditional cabin
- Get new energy in nature at Trysilfjellet
- Explore Femundsmarka National Park by canoe or on foot
We are a family of four - Tore, Reidun and our two almost grown-up children, Ida and Kristian. Reidun grew up here, and I have spent every summer in this area since I was little, so it has a special place in our hearts. This is where we met and later married. The cabin is our sanctuary where we recharge and enjoy nature. We love both summer and winter activities here, especially fly fishing, which is my great passion. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing this gem with you.
