The 120-year-old thatched house of Alois and his wife is located in the picturesque landscape of Eiderstedt in a secluded location. After extensive renovation and conversion work in 2017, it now houses three vacation apartments that can be booked individually or together - perfect for families seeking relaxation or for workshops and retreats.
Three different apartments offer space for up to 15 people in total. Each apartment has several bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as a separate living room with a fully equipped kitchen. Throughout the house you will find high-quality, natural materials that create a perfect balance between the traditional thatched house and the modern, Scandinavian-inspired interior. At the same time, each apartment has its own special features, such as the red brick floor and Swedish tiled stove in the West apartment, local artwork and an extra-large dining table in the East apartment, and plenty of light and sun in the small, cozy South apartment.
A communal sauna with a relaxation room and panoramic view provides relaxation and recreation at any time of the year. The lovingly landscaped garden with its many seating areas offers many outdoor retreats.
By bike you can reach all destinations in the area. Numerous dikes and salt marshes let you immerse yourself in nature. Swimming spots and the wide sandy beaches of St. Peter Ording are also nearby.

Hello, I am Alois and together with my wife the host in our beautiful vacation home near St. Peter Ording. For several years we have been spending our vacations at the North Sea with our children. In 2016 we discovered the thatched vacation home and immediately fell in love with the fantastic location with a magnificent view. Together with our three children, we have lovingly renovated and furnished the house. In doing so, we have always been guided by how we ourselves would like to spend our vacation. Our vacation home has become a perfect retreat for those seeking relaxation.

A fantastic house and property. The layout of the 3 apartments is very clever. We were there as a large group and were able to leave the doors of the apartments open. This made the house feel like one unit. If you had wanted to separate it, that wouldn't have been a problem either.
I loved being able to watch the cows from the window.
