Fairytale Cabin Near the Sea and Vineyards

This handcrafted hobbit house is tucked away in the woods near the Villstrå vineyard. The cabin is built with straw-bale technique, with hand-carved wooden fittings that create an authentic hobbit atmosphere. You'll have your own outdoor shower and toilet, as well as a kitchen, wood-burning stove, electricity and running water. There's a loft with a comfortable bed and a spacious sofa.

You'll have your own path through the woods leading to your very own little hobbitland. Nearby, you'll find grapevines, a vegetable garden, and smooth rocky shores that lead down to the sea, with views of the Norwegian fjords.

Tjøme's located at the far end of the Oslo Fjord, where the archipelago meets the Skagerrak. “Verdens Ende” (The End of the World) features the Vippefyret lighthouse, fantastic swimming spots and views of the Færder lighthouse. Færder National Park surrounds you with 340 km² of islands and skerries—perfect for boat trips and coastal hikes.

Hvasser and Sandøsund sit just across the bridge, with charming wooden houses and a harbour. Tønsberg, Norway’s oldest city, is a short drive away and features a lively harbour promenade lined with restaurants and bars. Tjøme's just as beautiful in the spring and autumn.
