We are a family of five who searched for the perfect cottage for several years and finally found it. We fell in love with the small and traditional cottage from 1957, and we have recently renovated and refurbished it ourselves. We were looking for nature and were sure that it should be close to the North Sea. Skovly was also a cottage that was very close to the old owners and one of the conditions of purchase was that the house should be preserved and not just torn down. Besides the fact that we just love that it's a real cottage, that's also why we've renovated based on the original charm.

When we're at the cottage, we often visit Blåbjerg Plantation, which is known for its excellent cycling and walking routes. We also like to visit the North Sea. We especially like Houstrup Beach, which is close by. The towns we visit most often are Hvide Sande, where you can have a good lunch, Henne Strand with shopping and cafés and Blåvand can also be reached within about 30 minutes. There are plenty of places to visit: Filsø, Bork Harbor, which is especially good for kite surfing and the beautiful museum Tirpitz.
