Artist's home in old town in Lazio

This two-story house is located in the historic pedestrian center of Castelnuovo di Porto, a medieval village in Lazio nestled amid the greenery of Veio Park. It features a panoramic terrace overlooking the green valley, and the main square is just a short walk away. It’s a peaceful base from which to explore Rome and the surrounding area, without missing out on village life.

On the first floor, the bright living room and fully equipped kitchen open onto the panoramic terrace, where you can relax with an aperitif on summer evenings. On the ground floor, there are two bedrooms—one of which has air conditioning—a small study with a fireplace, and a bathroom with a tub and shower.

The terrace overlooking the valley is the home’s highlight: an outdoor spot where you can enjoy breakfast in the quiet of the morning before setting out. The village has several free parking areas, all within easy walking distance of the pedestrian zone.

Rome is 24 km away and can be reached in about 30 minutes along the Via Flaminia, or by leaving your car in Saxa Rubra and continuing by train to Piazzale Flaminio. Nearby attractions include Lake Bracciano, Lake Martignano, Mount Soratte, and the Terme dei Papi.
