If there are children visiting, the circular trail "Madonnastien" (a short drive away) with beautiful views is always a favorite. Absolutely fantastic! The house (cabin) is gorgeous, new, clean and well maintained. Nicely and functionally furnished, and with the most amazing view of the Eggedalsegnen below. It's on the edge of a small cottage area, but you still feel like you're on your own because you have a view of nature and no other houses. And then the hiking trail up to the mountain begins a hundred meters from the house.
