The cozy living area invites to long reading afternoons in front of the fireplace. The rare historic dining area, which has been equipped with a modern kitchenette, provides incomparable cooking experiences. The bright bathroom with its Moroccan cement tiles perfectly completes the living ambience.
Start your day with a coffee on the sun terrace in the naturally designed garden and fully recover from the stresses of everyday life. Explore the nature trail directly behind the house or go on a bike ride through the picturesque heath landscape, which leads you to the nearby neighboring villages and lakes. After an eventful day, you can sit back in the garden sauna and end the evening in complete relaxation.

I'm Markus and, together with my partner Karsten, I'm your host in our Swedish red thatched house. Historical buildings and their gardens have a very special charm for us - to design them and to breathe new life into them gives us an incredible amount of joy. We would now like to share our passion for beautiful old houses and their gardens with other people. In combination with the idyllic location between forests and lakes, our restored colonist house is the perfect vacation home. For us, there is nothing better than spending time in the living room with a good book by the fireplace and then cycling through nature to the nearest swimming spot or to our rowing boat at the jetty in Rieth.

Until 30 days before the arrival day, you may cancel for a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 30 days before the arrival day or book 72 hours before the arrival day, you will not be refunded.
