The old village station in Burgundy

This stone house was the village's railway station in the late 1800s. A sweeping renovation has raised ceiling heights, laid handmade floors throughout, and brought original details back to life. The open-plan ground floor connects a large living room, dining area, and a substantial country kitchen. That kitchen holds a Lacanche range with three ovens, so you can cook seriously here.
