Renovated mountain cabin with cross country trails

An authentic Norwegian mountain experience awaits you in this newly renovated mountain cabin, recently transformed by Halvor Bakke and Eventyrlig Oppussing. Here you can enjoy panoramic views of mountains and expansive landscapes through large windows, while the sunset over Lake Fyris paints the sky in spectacular colors.

The modern kitchen island forms a natural gathering place, perfect for shared meals and cooking. The upgraded interior combines traditional cabin charm with modern comfort, complete with a high-quality music system to create the right atmosphere.

Outdoors, a well-equipped patio with comfortable furniture, a gas grill, and a pizza oven awaits—everything you need for memorable meals under the open sky. After a long day outdoors, relax in the sauna before a refreshing dip in the mountain lake.

From the cabin, you have direct access to a network of hiking trails, with Sauvallnatten (1050 m above sea level) right behind the cabin. For the more adventurous, higher peaks such as Høgevarde (1459 m) and Gråfjell (1466 m) beckon. In winter, the cross-country ski trails pass right by, and trail bike enthusiasts will appreciate the immediate access to the Høgevarde trail network.

In winter, there is no road all the way to the cabin, but you can park 500 meters away. Luggage transport upon arrival can be arranged with the host. The water solution in the cabin allows you to use water as usual for cooking/washing and the dishwasher, but the shower should preferably be used for less than 5 minutes a day.
