Old family farm in the forests of Västerbotten

We’re Liz and Andreas, and over the years we’ve lived in several different places in Sweden, but we’ve always been drawn to old houses, nature, and country life. A few years ago, we left southern Sweden and moved north to Västerbotten, where we found a sense of peace and closeness to nature that we truly appreciate.

We love houses and places that have a history and a character of their own, and we put a lot of time and love into preserving and developing our old farm. We prefer the personal and slightly imperfect over the new and polished—we like things that have lived a life, and above all, a home should feel warm and welcoming.

Nature's a big part of our lives. We love hiking in the mountains, spending time in the woods, cooking over an open fire, and following the changing seasons. Up here, we especially love the contrasts—the bright summer nights, the colours of autumn, the truly snowy winters, and those evenings when the northern lights suddenly appear over the farm.

We previously rented out accommodation in Österlen and really enjoyed meeting people who came to experience the area and its surroundings. Now we’re excited to do the same here and share our part of Västerbotten with others.

For us, it doesn’t have to be anything extraordinary to be wonderful. A long breakfast, a trip to a forest lake, a day out in nature, or an evening by the fire are often what we appreciate the most. That’s also the feeling we hope our guests will take home with them.
