A truly unforgettable place. Without a doubt, the most beautiful cottage in terms of location that I’ve ever seen. The view of Rondane is breathtaking, and the tranquility is almost beyond belief. During the entire week we were there, we heard nothing but silence, birds, and the occasional bleat of a sheep.
The cottage was incredibly clean, neat, and tidy. The battery with the solar panel is more than enough for charging and lighting, and cooking went very well. The bed was also incredibly comfortable. Now it even features a luxurious sauna.
But above all, this is simply an incredibly special place. Authentic, surrounded by nature, and with an atmosphere you won’t find anywhere else. It felt like an honor to be able to stay here. Mari, thank you so much for sharing this special place with others.
Good to know: the road leading there is only fully passable with a slightly higher-clearance vehicle. We had no trouble getting there with a Rav4.
