Hi - my name is Kristin and I am the owner of this cabin together with my two boys aged 23 and 18. The cabin was without a doubt MY big dream, while the boys sometimes come up for weekends and vacations - for example to celebrate Christmas or Easter. The cabin was completed in 2018 and has been used diligently all year round since then. Here we like to relax and spend time together as a family, or to invite good friends to visit, plan summit trips and take advantage of all the exciting opportunities in the area around the Hjørundfjord.

One of the best things about the cabin's location is that the area is an eldorado for summit tours in both summer and winter, and offers beautiful nature experiences for young and old. Kolåstinden is the queen of Sunnmøre, and for this hike, Sylvkallen and Fingeren, the hike starts right outside the cabin. You can also easily get to hikes such as Slogen, Jakta, Urkeegga, Trandalhatten, Skårasdalen and Dalegubben, and if you turn your nose north, you'll find the beautiful Romedalen valley with Romedalstinden, Hallehornet or Middagshornet.
