Beautiful Southern Norwegian cabin in Kragerø

Between the archipelago's islands, islets and towns you will find the summer town of Kragerø and this charming cottage, where you can enjoy an undisturbed idyll and a completely unique sea view. The cabin is just minutes from bathing beaches, Kragerø's cozy streets and the ferry port where you can go on adventures in the archipelago.

The cabin is built in true southern style and is the only house in Kragerø that remained after the town fire in 1886. The house has preserved its fine, original details, but has been lovingly overhauled with new, bright frames and all the modern cabin luxury you want when you are on a trip. Here you can get up to the morning sun on the terrace and enjoy the fantastic 180-degree view of the sea and boating.

Not far away are beautiful swimming beaches and the charming center of Kragerø, which with its narrow streets and crooked paths gives you endless opportunities to discover cute cafes and shops. The archipelago's many islands and islets are also easy to explore both on land and by water, either in your own boat, kayak or by ferry, which you can go to in 10 minutes from the cabin.

The short 70-metre walk up the narrow road and down the stairs to the cabin gives you the authentic experience of Kragerø. And while that's part of the charm, this can be a bit too challenging for those who aren't very steady on their feet. Feel free to pack bags and rucksacks instead of suitcases - then the way up to the cabin will be much easier to enjoy, with its steep original stairs both outside and inside.
