A really beautiful house with a huge east-facing window in the dining/living room, so you can enjoy breakfast in the sunshine in the morning—indoors or outdoors—with blackberries from the garden in your cereal.
The kitchen is better than at home ;) The bathrooms too. A little caution is required with small children—but that worked out fine for us too.
The beach is three houses away, and the harbor and supermarket are also just a few minutes' walk away. We often saw rabbits in the neighboring gardens. Once we even saw two deer.
There are a few shops and restaurants in the village, but it's not big. At the other end, there is a really great playground. For our children, that was the highlight of the place. But flying kites, catching crabs and letting them slide back into the water, finding all the tiger figures in the village, the other playgrounds, eating ice cream and, of course, the beach kept us busy there.
There are also plenty of places to visit. For some, however, a car is necessary...
