The summer house 'Nærvær' is a gathering place for us and our family and friends. As the name reveals, the idea is to create closeness, togetherness, coziness and good experiences in beautiful surroundings. The shoulders come down, the hustle and bustle of everyday life is put at a distance and we let go of our cell phones. When we land on the island, the pace slows down.
Swimming at Dueodde Beach (both summer and winter!) is great for the soul. In the summer, we always stop by Snogebæk, where we swim and eat pizza at Levertranfabrikken.
We are also around Høstet for the Friday bar in the plantation, and of course Gæsten for one of the many great music evenings.
We go for walks by Lake Opal or on the many coastal paths and indulge ourselves at restaurants such as Kadeau and Nordlandet. Smokehouses are also a draw. Here we prefer Hasle Røgeri. If we're in the north of the island, we always stop by Kalas, which has the most beautiful location and the best ice cream and coffee.

The vacation home lives up to its motto and is ideal for guests who prefer the simple life. It is particularly nice to have breakfast on the terrace. The property is very interesting for children; they have plenty of space to play. You also have a lot of contact with nature and its inhabitants. Even two deer visited us in the morning.
The surroundings - the sparse forest right on the coast - are uniquely beautiful.
