Close to Tårup Strand on Funen is this thatched annex from 1860. Here you have a fantastic view of the fields and sea from both the living room and the terrace. If you want to enjoy more of the outdoors, you can take the kitchen's portable stove outside and cook on it, or take a bath under the screened outdoor shower.

The annex belongs to the house next door where the host lives. Today, it has been transformed into a modern home that invites romance and intimacy. In the morning, you can open the small barred window from the bedroom and let the fresh air in. In contrast to its modern decor, the annex still retains glimpses of its history, as seen in the old ceiling beams.

There are plenty of beautiful routes to explore in the area when you feel like exploring. The beach is only 300 meters away. Otherwise, it's always a good idea to explore the many roadside stalls and their seasonal assortment, and use it as the basis for your summer cottage cooking.
