Bright house with terrace and 50 m to the sea

A small white house in Kikkenborg, just 50 meters from the sea. The style blends classic summer cottage design with elements from the seaside hotel tradition, and light floods in from every direction. Out front is a terrace with a view of the sea, and behind the house is a smaller, more secluded terrace shielded by a fence and a few trees.

The house is essentially one large open space where everything happens. The double bed is at the far end, screened off by a large wardrobe, and above it is a loft with two mattresses. There are no doors to close, and that’s something to keep in mind. For those who are comfortable being close to one another, it gives the house its special character.

The front terrace gets the morning sun and sunlight until around 8:00 p.m., depending on the season. Behind the house, the evening sun finds its way to the small terrace. The beach 50 meters down is private for the vacation home owners in Kikkenborg, so it’s quiet here. It’s a pebble beach, but at the end of the pier there’s a sandy bottom.

The North Beach in Kerteminde, with an ice cream shop, mini-golf, and a volleyball net, is 300 meters away. There is a bike path leading into the town of Kerteminde, where you’ll find the gourmet seafood restaurant Rudolf Mathis, the Johannes Larsen Museum, and Fjord og Bælt. The Great Northern Golf and Spa, complete with a restaurant, is located in the area. Fisherman Hans Boesen and his son at Lillestranden sell fresh fish.
