Rural charm for big families in Vendsyssel

North of the fjord in beautiful Vendsyssel lies the Svarrehus farm, situated on a six-hectare property featuring woods, a lake, and fields. Here, you'll rent the large, newer wing of the house, which offers plenty of space to gather with family or friends.

The house is divided into two separate sections under the same roof: the large, newer section, which this listing covers, and a smaller, older section, which isn't included in the rent. Each section has its own entrance and is separated from the other, so there's no access between them during your stay. The hosts use the older section, and other guests may also occupy it while you're here. This means you'll have the rented section to yourselves, but you may have neighbours in the same building.

In the newer wing, you'll find a personalised interior featuring natural materials, muted colours, and classic design. The atmosphere in the great room is rustic, with a brick floor and a wooden ceiling that soars to the rafters, highlighted by exposed beams. Here, you'll enjoy a beautiful view through the large windows and plenty of space to gather the whole family around the plank table. In the fireplace room, you can easily move the lounge chairs on casters around as you wish. Gather around the cooking area in the large bespoke kitchen in the great room, or enjoy a sense of wellness in the bathroom with its wooden tub and elegant brass details.

The large property invites you to both play freely and immerse yourself in nature. In the old, wild garden, you'll find the south-facing terrace and many cosy nooks, while the west-facing terrace between the slopes offers an idyllic courtyard atmosphere with its moss-covered cobblestone steps and the old witch hazel. Explore among the fruit trees and berry bushes, or enjoy the beautiful view of Stagsted Forest from one of the two fire pits. The trampoline offers plenty of space for the kids to romp around.
