We are a young couple who enjoy the hustle and bustle of Copenhagen's vibrant streets on a daily basis. That's why we often use our holiday home on weekends and vacations, where presence means a lot to us. We enjoy our little house and each other and relax in a completely different way than when we're in the city. We both grew up on Lolland and Falster, so cottage time for us is also about being close to family and supporting the local environment and nature that we love.
We rarely watch TV, but instead we spend a lot of time on our covered terrace and in the corners of the garden. We have preserved much of the planting and kept the old trees, which gives a sense that the history of the house lives on. When we're not spending time in the garden, we love to go for walks in the area. Either to the water, the Bøtø forest or up to the square for an ice cream. We also love to walk around and look in all the little flea stalls that people set up. We often take a drive (10 km) to the southernmost point of Denmark, Gedser, which is so beautiful. But otherwise, we rarely use the car until we have to return home.
