We are a small family of three plus a dog who decided in 2018 to build our dream cabin. We wanted a cabin with a modern feel and quality materials, where nature was still in charge, and we succeeded. After thousands of hours of our own efforts, the cabin is now ready - complete with main house and annex.
The cabin is a place we will never consider finished, because nature, by growing back and encircling the site as it once did, will make the cabin better and better into the future. We are incredibly happy in our cabin and enjoy the silence, tranquillity and togetherness here. Being able to be together as a family in this way gives us the break from a busy everyday life that we need, and is something we want to share with other families who want a break from the city, embraced by beautiful nature.
The birch forest behind the cabin offers both views and adventure for both small and four-legged friends. If you follow the path inwards a few hundred meters up behind the cabin, you come up above the cabin field, where the view spreads to the east and west.
