"Lærkehuset" right by Kalundborg Fjord

In the first row to Kalundborg Fjord is 'Lærkehuset'. The summer house is from 1923 and is hidden behind a beautiful, old larch tree, which has given its name to the fine wooden house. Here you can stand up to the most beautiful view over the fjord and walk down the private stairs to the jetty, where you can take a fresh morning dip.

Inside, you'll find carefully selected architect-designed furniture and the original carpenter's kitchen invites you to dust off the old recipe for pancakes and cosy up together as a family in front of the warm wood-burning stove overlooking Røsnæs' wild scrub.

Røsnæs is known for its unique nature and high coastal cliffs, all of which you can enjoy from the terrace with the fjord on the horizon, under the larch tree or from the annex out in the garden, where you can also hole up for the night. Wherever you close your eyes in the 'Larch House', you'll fall asleep to the sound of the fjord's lapping waves.
