From the cottage it is only 400 meters to Skødshoved Beach, where you can swim, go for long walks and get wind in your hair

Our names are Erna and Peter, and we live in Aarhus. We have had the cottage for 20 years and are very happy with it. When we got the cottage, we were a family with three children, all of whom were happy to spend weekends and holidays here. We have regularly spruced up the house so that it is both cosy and functional, inside and out.
The beach is only 400 metres away and the water is lovely. If the family needs more activity than playing in the garden or on the beach, the Fuglsø Centre is 9 km away, where you can play golf, rent bikes and enjoy great music. We also like the cosy harbour with ice cream parlour and a good restaurant. We take many walks along the water and Peter also fishes from the beach (sea trout). We are especially fond of walks in Mols Bjerge, where we find many mushrooms in autumn. Half an hour's drive from the cottage is also beautiful Ebeltoft, Djurs Sommerland and the animal parks.
But best of all is the peace, the light, the high sky, relaxing in the sheltered and sunny corners by the house and the warm and quiet evenings on the terrace where we enjoy the view and the sunset.
