Architect-designed house in Odsherred

You’ll find your very own sanctuary among the birch trees, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. The house was designed from the ground up with light, shelter, and nature in mind—all of which unfold right outside the windows. Here, modern architecture meets the untamed beauty of Odsherred, with its cormorants, birdlife, and Sejerø Bay on the horizon.

The house features a spacious living room with a wood-burning stove, an alcove, and underfloor heating. Two separate living zones with sliding doors allow you to enjoy the house in peace and quiet, and each area has a hallway leading to two bedrooms and a bathroom. Large windows let in plenty of light and create a connection to nature.

Terraces surround the house, allowing you to follow the sun from morning to evening. Among the birch trees is a wilderness bath for 5–7 people with direct access from the bathroom and right next to the house’s outdoor shower. Deer still pass through the garden on their way to the Natura 2000 area, and you wake up to the sound of the waves.

The boardwalk across the dunes takes you to the beach in 7–8 minutes. The dike 100 meters away offers sunsets stretching across the entire horizon. Ellinge Forest, Haveje by the dunes, and Højby—with disc golf, padel, and mini-golf—are all within a short distance. Sommerland Sjælland and Rørvig Harbor are perfect for family outings.
