Between the trees near Fjellerup Beach lies a stunning sanctuary

Only a short drive from Aarhus in the holiday village Fjellerup awaits this beautiful cottage in the middle of the forest. Here at the tip of Denmark's nose, you can gather across families and generations for summer days on the beach, walks in the forest's brilliant autumn colours and pure pampering in the wilderness pool.

The summer house was newly built in 2020 and combines modern quality solutions with classic cottage charm. The pastel colours of the rooms give a shot of cottage atmosphere, while the distinctive architectural lines create a stunning light in the kitchen living room. Here you can enjoy family favourite meals or curl up on the sofa while the youngest play games or watch Playstation on the TV in the large loft.

The living room doors lead out onto the wooden terrace, which is partially covered so you can enjoy your morning coffee and meals in the shade of the sun and wind. In the garden surrounded by tall trees, there's plenty of room to challenge each other at petanque or badminton when you're not slumping your shoulders and letting the warm water envelop your body in the wilderness pool.

A few hundred metres away, Fjellerup Beach awaits with fine-grained sand, rose bushes and dunes, where you can laze away sunny days or get blown away on walks in the surf. Follow the sandy beach to Fjellerup and stock up on fresh, smoked fish for lunch on the terrace from the fishmonger, or get perhaps Djursland's biggest ice cream cone at the Waffle Bakery.
