We travel from Copenhagen to Smidstrup Strand as often as we can. When we bought the house it was in its original condition from 1969, which gave us the opportunity to renovate and decorate to our taste, and it has become a place where we love to be and is like a second home.

There is plenty to do - head to one of the many nearby beaches - it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the nearest one. Visit Gilleleje town for a fishing trip by the harbor area, go strawberry picking, take a walk on Gilbjergsstien or find unique items at the area's flea markets.

Or just hang out indoors or out.

The house is lovingly furnished and the property is beautiful! We felt very comfortable from the first day. Our son loved the soccer goals and the trampoline and that he could run around the house. The swing and gymnastic rings inside were a great way to pass the time when it rained. The proximity to the beach is great. There is a great running route to Gilleleje, some of which offers beautiful sea views (about 11 km there and back, depending on when you turn around). Alternatively, you can turn off in Gilleleje and enjoy the beautiful landscape along the roads on your way back (about 10 km).
