You will find the house in Bodaskog – a completely renovated main house from 1848 with modern facilities and a spacious annex. There is room for several generations here, and the architecture provides both community and the opportunity to retreat. The forest is right outside the windows, and the starry sky at night is so clear that you will be captivated.
The large kitchen with a cooking island and long table is the heart of the house. Here, some can tend to the pots and pans while the rest of the family gathers around the table for conversation, games, and meals. The fireplace room offers an open fire and sofa, the living room has space for relaxation and reading, and on the first floor you will find three bedrooms, a landing for play and a bathroom. The annexe has three motel-style guest rooms with a veranda.
A large terrace runs around the house, where you can enjoy your morning coffee while the sun rises over the fields. The fire pit is perfect for long evenings of cozy conversation, and the forest invites you to take walks and make discoveries. You have your own well, so the water is always fresh from a depth of 100 meters.
There are swimming lakes in the surrounding area, and Kosta, with its glassworks, shops, and restaurants, is only 10 minutes away. Sweden Zipline at Little Rock Lake (45 min.) offers a fantastic experience over the forest, and Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby (3 hours) is perfect for a whole day of adventure. Nybro and Kalmar offer pleasant urban environments within a short distance.

- Gather the family in the large kitchen with cooking island or around the fire pit under the starry sky.
- Explore the forests on walks and swim in lakes just minutes from the house
- Visit Kosta Glassworks 10 minutes away or Sweden Zipline at Little Rock Lake
We are a large family who took over the deserted farm in 2019 and completely renovated the beautiful house from 1848. This is our recreational safe space, where we recharge our batteries with the forest, fields, and starry sky as our neighbors. We enjoy long meals, walks with the dog, and the amazing starry nights.
