Barn charm by the sea on Gimsøy in Lofoten

The barn is 200 years old and has been converted into a very special place to stay. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet, amidst the spectacular surroundings of Lofoten.

When you enter the cabin, you are greeted by the beautiful light from the large windows. They provide views of the sea, the fields and the mountains of Gimsøysand, and are consistent throughout the cabin. Inside the cabin, details and woodwork from the past have been preserved, although the other design choices are modern. On the second floor, you may be lucky enough to see the Northern Lights dancing across the night sky as you lie under the warm duvet.

If you visit the cabin in the summer, you can enjoy the magical midnight sun from the beach at Hov. You're also within walking distance of several fantastic beaches, such as Vinjestranda, which is just a stone's throw from the cabin. Golf enthusiasts can play 18 holes at Lofoten Links, and the surrounding area also offers cozy cafés and eateries with delicious meals. If you come here in winter, you can watch the fantastic northern lights from the terrace.
