Drive along the small gravel path between the green hills towards the point where the sea and sky meet at the horizon line. Here, a holiday home from 1777 awaits you with an uninterrupted view of the wild expanses and the ever-changing North Sea, which can be reached by walking 600 meters along the small grassy path through the landscape.
The cottage is particularly suitable for a family, two families or several pairs of friends traveling together. The bedrooms and three bathrooms are split between the cottage and the house, making it easy to retreat or spend time together as needed. The decor is light, Nordic and simple, letting the views and nature speak for themselves. On the first floor of the main house you'll find the living room, where you can enjoy the most wonderful views over the cliffs to the sea in the distance.
Spend your days relaxing in the beautiful garden, soaking up the sun on the terrace or exploring the area. Just five kilometers west of the cottage, you can be captivated by Hanstholm Harbour, which offers great dining experiences, such as world-class fish. If you're more into culture, you can explore the past at the Bunker Museum. Continuing south along the coast, you'll come to Klitmøller, part of "Cold Hawaii", where you can experience wild waves for surf lovers and hiking in Thy National Park for those who want to experience a true gem of Denmark's nature.

- Bring several families together and surround yourself with tranquility and views of sea and sky
- Walk along the small paths to the wide beach by the wild and wonderful North Sea
- Stay near Europe's surfing mecca 'Cold Hawaii' and the unique nature of Thy National Park
As soon as we turn down the small gravel road to the cottage, we leave stress behind. For us, the cottage is synonymous with freedom and the opportunity to switch gears. The house was built in 1777 and has been inhabited by fishermen who walked the small paths down to the sea. We rebuilt the upstairs in 2022-2023 with the help of passionate carpenters from the local area.
We love being right here, surrounded by beautiful nature and the view of the sea from the first floor of the cottage. Thy National Park is a very special area, beautiful, raw and wild all at once. The cottage is secluded, yet with easy access to the harbor in Hanstholm, the surfing town of Klitmøller and the cozy streets of Thisted. Our favorite places are the terrace and the view from here or upstairs, where we can look out over the rolling hills to the sea. We love taking the short walk to the beach and wondering which North Sea will meet us today.
If you have bikes with you, we recommend a ride along the bike path through the dunes just below the hill from the cottage. If you're into surfing, you can also catch your first wave at Surfcamp in Hanstholm or catch your dinner on an off-shore fishing trip on the yellow reef.
