We had a fabulous stay. The pool was a real highlight, and the kids barely wanted to leave it.
The host was wonderful: incredibly responsive and genuinely helpful, even booking restaurant reservations for us, which made our evenings easy.
The house is large and well suited to sharing. We stayed with another family and there was plenty of room for everyone, with lots of different seating areas inside and out where the kids could go off and play. It never felt crowded.
The kitchen and bathrooms have been recently remodelled, so everything is new and in excellent shape.
The only nitpicky thing: the property sits down in a valley, so it doesn’t have the classic sweeping Tuscan-hills view you might picture. But those views are a quick 10 min drive away. So a small trade-off for everything else the place offers.
We’d happily return, and recommend it especially for two families travelling together.
