This lovely cottage has an atmosphere and décor that matches the original 1960s setting. The house is lovely and open - especially because of the skylight windows and the large glass section to the garden. The kitchen has a new oven and dishwasher so you don't have to worry about washing up. Here you can sit on the sofa and enjoy the view of the fire in the new wood-burning stove. The house is year-round friendly, so whether you want to visit this gem in summer or winter, there is a possibility. However, the annexe can only be enjoyed in the warmer months, so in winter there are only six sleeping places.
In the garden you will find fruit trees, berry bushes and plenty of space to play. The large plot has plenty of nice nooks and in a small enclosed sun garden with roses and berry bushes there is space to enjoy your coffee. There is also space for games, football, trampoline jumping and snob bread baking by the fire pit in the garden. From this little paradise it is only 300 metres to the water, and only a short walk to the islands of Kattegat. The harbour town always has a great atmosphere in the summer. The best fishmonger in the area is seven kilometres from the cottage - and Birkemosegaard is well worth a stop along the way.

There is an absolutely fantastic and great reason
The water and the beautiful nature are close by
We are Malou, Jan and we have Hector and Vilde at 10 and 4 years. We love to welcome people to our lovely sanctuary on Sjællands Odde. We have spent the last 19 years travelling and swapping homes with many wonderful people. We are both very interested in music, movies, art and food.
The area in the north-western corner of Zealand has an absolutely stunning nature, and Odsherred is Denmark's only UNESCO Global Geopark. The beautiful, significant and unique landscape is not to be found anywhere else. Here you are surrounded by sea, close to great family activities, child-friendly beaches, art and culture.
We enjoy exploring the area and visiting quaint towns with the wings of history, shopping for local produce or eating internationally renowned gourmet food at places like Dragsholm Castle.
